You don’t have to pay practice fees or other additional payments. All the drugs, medications, investigations, and further assessments (e.g. laboratory analyses, ECG, ultrasonic) are free for you and your health insurance.

Within clinical trials of phase II to IV patients may not receive an allowance for special expenditure for ethical reasons but a reimbursement of travel expenses is normal. For more time-consuming assessments the additional effort can be reimbursed.
